'Lecons de Choses' / Glaspaleis Heerlen / 2005

In my concept, the glass-house is a secret hidden vitrine. In this I showed, in a compact way, the contemporary situation of the soil-condition of the Netherlands. About 90 geo-morphological maps are attached on wooden drying-racks with clothes-pegs.
Holland in its most concrete and massive form hangs out to dry in a fragile airing cabinet.

Size: 4,5 x 2,25 x 2,25 cm.
Material: Wooden racks, maps.
Commissioned by: Stadsgalerij Heerlen
